Emico technologies INC was established in barrie on in 1996 as a spin-off of the volkswagen of Canada plant that was built in barrie in 1981. Consistent superior quality of emico product is ensured by high internal quality standads as confirmed by our registration to qs9000 and iso9002 quality management standards.
Our most significant products are automotive aftermarket catalytic converters and front exhaust pipes. We specialize in vw/seat and audi "direct fit" converters which are made entirely to OEM specifications except the catalysts
Quality of our products is superior to any other available after market product. The direct fit converters are rigorously controlled by using original vw control gages and qa procedures for fit and tolerance as well as 100% leak testing for weld integrity.
Currently our superior quality products are installed on vehicles in Germany, Austria, Australia, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Romania, poland. Britain, and Greece as well as Canada, the United States and Mexico.
In the custom fabrication area of its operations emico functions at the quality level of an automotive OEM supplier providing welded and fabricated parts to clients such as daimler chrysler (300 series) and general motors (pontiac solstice)
