HISTORY OF KAYNAK GROUP

The story of Kaynak Group started with a small printing house in Izmir 30 years ago. Then a small stationery outlet followed. Later a publishing house, more stationery outlets... And more companies in related industries as the group grew stronger.

In 1998, the operations were shifted from Izmir to Istanbul, the industrial capital of Turkey.

Today the Group had reached to 18 companies most of which are among the biggest ones in their relative fields. With 18 companies, some 1,500 employees, Kaynak Group is the name of persistent growth, trust and fair trade.

Kaynak Group is now based in Istanbul and has offices in New York, MosCo., Egypt, Indonesia, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Kazakystan, Azarbaijan, Kyrgizstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Including the liaison offices and corporate partners, its operations reach up to 74 countries in 6 continents globally.

In stationery, Kaynak Group has the biggest stationery chain stores in Turkey, whose name is "N-T Stationery Chain Stores". Now, there are 62 chain stores&4 big wholesale offices located in Turkey. Also we have more than 14 chainstores including our abroad offices.

Kaynak Kagit is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kaynak Group. Kaynak Kagit is one of the largest paper wholesalers of Turkey. We Purchase papers from more than 15 country and 25 suppliers. We sell totally more than 60.000 Ton paper in a year. Our annual Turnover is $45 million in 2004.
