Development of Industry

The blast furnace facilities with trade mark "IZTM" are mounted practically in all blast furnaces of the former Soviet Union and of other foreign countries. During the decades of Plant operation, there were produced more than 15 thousand units of special rail transporting means being used in all Iron & Steel Associations and Works of CIS. The largest aluminium Works of Russia are equipped with semi-continuous aluminium casting machines produced in "IZTM".
More than 150 mining & concentrating associations and factories use the concentrating equipment of Irkutsk production. Irkutsk Heavy Engineering Plant produced 3263 classifiers, 978 thickeners, 810 settlers. The design office of "IZTM" modernizes continuously the produced equipment. Taking into account the non-series production, the Plant became the experimental basis where the new facilities were creating and are creating together with branch design organizations.

Capacities of Plant

To date, JSC "IA IZTM" is well equipped industrial enterprise. The production capacities of the Plant permits to manufacture the non-standard equipment of any complexity. "IZTM" manufactures the spare parts for equipment of our range. Now, we have five functioning shops: machine-assembling shop, mechanical shop, forge & heat treating shop, metal structure shop, shop for large-size part production and non-ferrous metal casting shop. These shops ensure the main production.
o The machine-assembling shop is equipped with large size rotary lathes for machining the parts, with complete set of universal metal machining facilities permitting to produce the units of any configuration and complexity. In this shop the parts and the pre-fabricated units are machining, the machines, the complete sets, the spare parts are assembling and testing, and also the finished products are shipping.
o The metal structure shop produces the slabs of rolled sheets, the weld metal structures with further machining, machines the perforated sheets, faces the parts with various non-ferrous metals.
o The forge & heat treating shop produces the forged parts, the stamped parts, accomplishes the heat treatment of parts.
o The non-ferrous metal casting shop produces the castings of non-ferrous metals (bronze, copper).
