Introduce:

Telco Plc was created in 1972 by some British Expertriates trading in cash crops in Cameroon. Their main product was buying of refined palm oil and exporting to the UK. By the early 1981 Telco became involved in crude palm oil when it acquire 40 hectars of land to begin an experimental palm plantation in Teze, North West Region of Cameroon.

Telco today is involved in agro-industries (oil palm plantations, cocoa/coffee exportation as well as timber exploration with it's license granted in 1996.)


Telco is now owned by 4 main shareholding groups. Beckshire Investments of Canyon County, California USA with 25%, Ambrose Holdings with 41%, the Government of Cameroon 25% and 9% by a group of small shareholders
