Founded in Paris 2004 by Franck Guignochau and Francois Casini, two people passionate about the real food, Sapidus is not merely a fine grocery where gourmets come to fill their baskets with products from all French regions, it's also a brand that the prestigious multiple shops refer to.
A single object: to choose the rare high quality products and provide them for fine groceries and shops.
While we opened a selling point in Paris at the very beginning, our goal is above all to supply other food shops with a catalog of 800 rare high quality products. Sweet or salty, liquid or solid, fruit jams, chutneys, chestnut spreads, vegetable spreads, fish spreads, mustards, meat jars, nougats, biscuits, fruit juices, lemonades, carbonated zaters, etc, are selected from around one hundred producers who are capable of responding to a big order and who agree to produce under the Sapidus brand. Sapidus has classified the products into families recognizable by circles in attractive colors.
Thus, the producers do not sell at a single selling point, but in a network of fine groceries and multiple shops launched by the brand creators.
