Introduce:

APL Tech Battery Industry Sendirian Berhad (APL) comprises of team of Lithium-Polymer Cell development and manufacturing experts. In APL, we do custom builds polymer lithium ion (PLI) cells for our customers, apart from listed in the Product Line up & Specifications on the webpage.

APL's product has met both the OEM test specification from Korea & US. APL has adopted the technology that has achieved one of the highest energy density capability as well as meeting the stringent safety and reliability test requirements. Here we have our own patented polymer electrolyte formulation, stacking & winding cell assembling process and much simplified manufacturing process. This has enabled us to mass produce PLI cells at high quality, reasonable cost and short turnaround time. We are able to achieve production readiness in less than 3 months.

In addition, we are under acquiring UL 1642 & ISO certification; as well as UNDOT Safety Compliance. In addition, APL, equipped with in-house PCM assembling facilities, also provides total solutions' product with complete PCM assembled battery packs. APL had also collaborated with a PCM manufacturer specialized in PCM (Protection Circuit Module) & SCM (Smart Circuit Module) designs for rechargeable batteries. If you need further technical information on the cells, we can provide you the summary report on OEM tests result too. Producing quality product and long term partnership with our customer are our main priority.

There are 2 families of Polymer Lithium cells we are producing:
1. High discharge cells - with a discharge of 10-20C for high current applications: RC Toys (airplanes, helicopters, and cars), power tools, military application.

2. Normal cells - with a discharge of 2C for normal applications: PDA, notebook, MP3, cell-phone, and most portable device applications.
